If Esty is 40 in Atelier Meruru, then wouldn't she have been 26 in Atelier Rorona, which takes place 14 years earlier? --Kahran042 (talk) 02:02, December 14, 2013 (UTC)

You're right. I don't know where 28 came from but in the north america version most of the characters age got increase by three years. Some characters like Gio or Meredith didn't change, I couldn't find if Esty age got change too so I just put in 26.--Haru3173 (talk) 09:10, December 14, 2013 (UTC)

Airhart

I went ahead and changed the name to Airhart as Koei Tecmo's newly created assets are using the proper name.

With Lydie & Suelle's release this year, Koei Tecmo had taken their translations internal. A group called acttil, formed from the NISA employees that had done Atelier translations prior to the KT buyout was still involved during the Plus release. Since Arland Collection DX is a port of the Plus versions of the Arland games, the Plus assets are re-used in game still showing the Etsy (and Filly) Dee name. The only thing original to the DX release is the instruction manual and in the character profiles, the original Airhart name is used. It is very likely when Atelier Lulua comes out a character with the Airhart name will be revealed and the eventual translation will use the proper translation.

Nelke and the Legendary Alchemists utilizes the Etsy Dee name. Since she doesn't appear in Atelier Lulua (as of right now with no DLC characters announced) it could have been a mistranslation.

If there's no further reasoning to use Airhart, we might as well switch back to Dee. I know that translations and things like Japanese/English ages have been a huge bone of contention for the wikia. But if she doesn't appear in Nelke, people will be confused when they see Airhart as her last name if they've only played or seen her in the Arland trilogy. There's no reason that we can't include both name usages - but perhaps we can change the article back to Esty Dee, while retaining the translation issue of Airhart somewhere in the trivia section or something. When I play Atelier games, I'm honestly not too fussed about proper translation, using Japanese voices, etc. So my opinion/knowledge on these types of things is generally fairly limited.  Nixerix (talk) 00:20, March 30, 2019 (UTC)
