Norbert Classen
Norbert Classen is a character in Atelier Firis: The Alchemist and the Mysterious Journey.
Norbert is an licensed alchemist living Grau-Tal. He loves to make fun of others.
His atelier is usually left vacant as he walks around the village aimlessy and he usually skips out of work. However, he will always help out if someone asks. The other villagers trust him because of this.
Role in Atelier Firis
Norbert is one of the licensed alchemist that can give Firis a letter of recommendation for the alchemist exam. However, he first gives her a false one and tricks her on numerous occasions.
He also helps Firis and Liane in the search for Liane's birthplace Norbert originally lived in the same village that Liane was born in and knew her mother, Aria. He tried to fight the dragon that destroyed it himself. However, he couldn't defeat it and ended up sealing it away with instead.
Before the dragon attack he had a wife and child. As he was the one who gave Aria the earring and that Aria's earring was supposedly given to her by her husband, it could be assumed that he was married to Aria and that Liane is their child.
