Plot
The story takes place in the town Elkrone, where the main character Meriela inherits a workshop from her grandmother. Her first customer is a fairy by the name Popote, who asks her to create a mysterious item, a Blue Wakkakka. Meriela doesn't know how to create it yet, but Popote starts helping out at the workshop until she can create the item.

Gameplay
Main character settings
The main character's name and nickname are changeable and her voice and picture can be turned off if the player wishes to do so.
Routes
The player can choose the route of either Ralf, Johann, Erhard, Clemans, Stephan or Alexey. There's two endings for each character with its own illustration (Ending 1 occurs with affection and popularity at MAX to MAX-1, and Ending 2 occurs with affection and popularity at MAX-2 to MAX-3). If the player doesn't take the mandatory requests or deviates from the character's route, they'll get the normal ending, with no illustration. There are three illustrations which can be obtained from events with side characters and requests.
Up until May 6 is the prologue, and from the second playthrough onward, skipping it is possible, but additional events are included. If skipped, the affection of each character starts at 1.
Synthesis
During certain points of the story, the player can choose ingredients for synthesizing items. Generally there is no recipe available to the player, but the circle on the synthesis screen will gradually fill in with blue as the player picks the right materials. All items in the game are recorded with images and descriptions in the Item Encyclopedia. Some items will also be carried in the Basket, although this does not have any gameplay benefits other than informing the player what story items Meriel is currently carrying on her.
Town map
During several points of the story, the player will be able to choose a location to go to from the town map. The player can generally only go to locations where there is a quest available, but at certain times it's possible to go to places without quests in order to view events.
Requests
In an usual in-game day, Popote will present the requests available in the morning. After viewing the available requests, the player can choose to head to town, tend the shop, or take it easy for the day. To accept a request, the player must choose to head to town, which will take the player to the town map. A request is accepted by choosing the location of the request from the town map. Requests are a key part to deepening relationships and experience various events.
