Building?

Since when does the Atelier franchise feel the need to have 'building' mechanics? Obviously Meruru had kingdom development but that wasn't ACTUALLY building as you didn't have to do the building yourself. If this is essentially going to be Atelier: Minecraft edition than I have no desire to buy it. Placement in the series

Just throwing it out there, but it's looking like all the alchemists actually come from their respective game after an alchemy related accident. They aren't going to be some alternate version of the characters outside of Pamela and Hagel.
