Otomaru is a character in Atelier Lise: The Alchemist of Orde.
An elderly alchemist with a mysterious past. He has lived in Orde for some time, trying to teach the younger generation about alchemy. He lives in Rodmark, an area that he assisted in founding long ago. His home is open to young alchemists who want to learn from him.
Polly helps him run the shop at the front of his home.
Lise will ask for Otomaru's assistance in forging the Arcanas Gem to get her kingdom out of debt. When Lise reaches alchemy level 40, Lise can purchase his notebook from the library.
