Melchior is one of the Knights of Orde, and is the second in command under Marius Sachsen. He respects his commander, but wishes that Marius would get out more and stop thinking so much about work.
He is the one that convinces Marius to help out Lise in her adventures, in an attempt to get Marius more socialized and to loosen up a bit.
