Uroborus

Picture of Uroborus in the final battle.

The final boss of the game.  Uroborus is called the mediator of dimensions. It is said that if Uroborus is awakened then the world will be destroyed. Long before many alchemist also awakened Uroborus for the sake of advancing science.

Story

When Edge and the party encounter Uroborus. Uroborus declares that splitting the worlds apart is not enough. That he must destroy it. Iris begs him not to unleash his wrath on the world. Telling him that humans are imperfect and can't become gods. Uroborus asks Iris if she even forgives the one that cursed her with death (Crowley). When Iris says that she forgives him Uroborus says that he doesn't understand.

After the party defeats Uroborus Edge begs that he stops. He charges in only to be easily knocked away. Edge remembers what Iris told him. That if Uroborus dissapears then Iris will also dissapear as well. After his flashback he rises once again and begs Uroborus not to destroy the world, telling him that they both want the same thing. To save the world. Uroborus denies Edge's request saying that only humans will only destroy the world.

Before Edge charges into combat again Iris stops him declaring that she will sacrifice herself to stop Uroborus.  When the Escalario was first made. It was made to seal Uroborus. This happened many times in the future as well which is why there were so many seals.  Escalario tells Iris that she was the first Alchemist to find Uroborus and seal him away.

Boss Fight

The boss battles has 2 phases. In the main phase Uroborus is resistant to all elemental attacks. Only having a Blessed property on your weapon will be able to break through his high defenses. When he initaites "Beginning's End" the player should have the party defend in order not to take too much damage from the next attack. Once he uses the attack Uroborus will use "World's End" this raises his attack power but also removes his defenses. This is best time to attack him.

The 2 dragons wrapped around Uroborus have there own individual turns as well. Each alternating between Blaze and Frost Breath attacks on the party.

The Diemia Glitch works great on Uroborus as long as he's in World's End Phase. Its possible to inflict more than 10,000 damage to him in one attack this way.
