Ending - Keithgriff

Below is a list of all events that can be triggered with Keith in Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dusk.

Keithgriff's ending is the most difficult in the game to complete. Many of the events are very time sensitive, making the ending extremely missable. You are also required to defeat the most powerful enemy in the game. Odelia's events are entwined with Keith's, and so it is recommended to complete Odelia's events while working on Keith's ending. There is one of Odelia's events that is required for Keith's ending.

Events

Optional Events

Below is a list of optional events with Keith that can be triggered. These are not required for Keith's ending, but will most likely be triggered before you start to work on the events required for the ending.

1. At the entrance of Zweiteturm, Keith will talk about how much he loves books.
2. On Bazaar Street in Vierzeberg, you will be able to see Keith doing some shopping during the bazaar.
3. At the entrance of Zweiteturm, Keith will talk to Ayesha about Slags.
4. Visit Vierzeberg again during a bazaar, and you will see Keith again.
5. At the Corridor section of the Herb Garden map, you will find Keith investigating the area.

Events to be completed BEFORE fighting Yggdrasil

These events MUST be completed BEFORE fighting Yggdrasil and saving Nio. If any of these are missed Keith's ending becomes unobtainable, as the next set of events will not trigger after Year 3.

1. In Hornheim (near the balloons), Keith will talk about the valley.
2. Visit the Evershade Woods on the World Map with Keith in the party. He will mention a place to the north of Hornheim. **This event will unlock Steinfeder. Steinfeder can only be reached via balloon, so buying the balloon for 20,000 cole is required to complete the rest of Keith's events.**
3. Before completing step 4, make sure that you have triggered Odelia's 'Dreaming Automaton' set of events first. This is required to move on with Keith's path. These set of events happen at Zweiteturm. The end of these events is flagged by Odelia returning to the Zweiteturm reception after fixing the malfunctioning slags.
4. Visit the depths of Steinfeder (with Keith in the party) to fight the Mecha-Dragon. This will unlock the Building Block trophy.
5. Visit the Lab of Dusk area of Steinfeder with Keith to read about the two cradles.
6. Return to the Zweiteturm and talk to Odelia about the two cradles **this event will not trigger if you did not previously complete Odelia's 'Dreaming Automaton' set of events**. Ayesha will get the 'History of Alchemy' entry in her memory diary.
7. Meet Odelia down at Archive 9 in the depths of Zweiteturm. She will teach you more about the two cradles.

At this point, you are free to fight Yggdrasil and continue to the post game.

Events after Year 3

1. At the Vierzeberg Hill Plaza, Ayesha will have a feeling that she's forgetting something important... This event can be triggered any time after the start of Year 3.
2. At the White Crow in Hornheim, Ayesha will ask Kyle about a giant Slag sighting.
3. Travel to the Decayed Ruin Island with Keith in the party and defeat the Rampage Dragon.
4. Run into Keith again at the Hill Plaza in Vierzeberg. This will unlock the 'Large Slag' entry in Ayesha's memory diary.
5. Any time after 1/1 in Year 3, visit the Zweiteturm entrance. You will see Keith here, and this will unlock the "At Paradise" trophy.
6. At the end of the game, if you've fulfilled all of the requirements you will be able to get Keith's ending. Choose "...I forgot something important." to get Keith's final ending and unlock the "Search for the Truth" trophy.
