Taking the First Step: 4 is a Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout quest.
As she arrives home, Ryza tries to sneak in unnoticed but her mother cathces har right away. Mio Stout forces Ryza to help with the harvest of their croup of Kurken Fruit. Her top priority now is to use alchemy to create a scythe, so she seeks out Empel to get his advice.
Empel teaches Ryza about Recipe Transformation so she can create the Reaper's Scythe, which she quickly decides to try out for herself. With the Reaper's Scythe synthesized, Ryza heads out to harvest the Kurken Fruit, which grows on the farm on the southwestern edge of the island. Having done what her mother asks, she hands over the Kurken Fruit to her father. Ryza is happy she was able to fulfill her promise, and returns to her room with pride.
