Taking the First Step: 3 is a Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout quest.
As Ryza works on her synthesis, Lent and Tao show up to encourage her to travel to the mainland once again. But this time they've got tools made using alchemy, and the goal of gathering more alchemy materials. With that in mind, they head off for the mainland.
Lent says he wants to explore the Main Road. Ryza likes this idea, so they decide to head north from the port. The adventurers encounters a number of strange new monsters on the Main Road. Seeing a good chance to gain some experience, Lent decides to fight until he feels satisfied. After getting some battle experience, the group returns to the village without being discovered.
